So many people live in a constant state of wanting. They want more money. They want love. They want freedom.
But here’s the problem: Wanting without planting is like expecting a harvest without ever sowing a seed.
Imagine craving oranges. You picture yourself holding a juicy, sweet fruit in your hand. But if you haven’t planted orange seeds, nurtured the soil, and tended to the tree, what do you expect to find when harvest time comes? More of the same old emptiness.
This is what happens when we live in the energy of wanting without taking the aligned steps to create.
Step 1: Choose Your Seeds (Clarity on Your Dreams)
If you want oranges, you don’t plant apple seeds. The same goes for your dreams.
You must be clear about what you truly desire — specific, detailed, and intentional. Your dream is the seed.
Vague desires create vague results. Specific desires create specific outcomes.
Step 2: Prepare the Soil (Your Mindset)
No matter how good the seed is, if the soil is hard, dry, or full of toxins, nothing will grow.
Your soil is your mindset — your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. If you’re holding onto doubt, fear, or limiting beliefs, you’re essentially trying to plant seeds in barren ground.
Preparing the soil means:
- Uprooting limiting beliefs (weeds).
- Replacing them with fertile thoughts of possibility.
Creating space in your mind to receive what you’re asking for
Step 3: Plant the Seed (Take Aligned Action)
Once your soil is ready, it’s time to plant.
This is the moment you take your dream and anchor it firmly in your mind through action.
Action can look like:
- Writing your dream down in vivid detail.
- Speaking affirmations that declare it as truth.
- Taking practical steps aligned with your goal.
Intentionally choosing your environment. The content you consume, the conversations you engage in, and the people you surround yourself with either nurture your seed or slowly kill it. Protect your mind the same way you would protect a fragile new plant.
Step 4: Water and Protect (Consistent Inner Work)
Seeds don’t grow overnight. They need watering, sunlight, and care.
For your dreams, this means:
- Repeating new empowering thoughts daily.
- Protecting your mind from negativity or doubt.
- Staying consistent, even when you don’t yet see results.
Weeds will try to creep in — old habits, old fears, old ways of thinking. Your job is to pull them out before they choke your dream.
Step 5: Trust the Process (Harvest Will Come)
When you plant orange seeds, you don’t dig them up every day to check if they’re growing. You trust. You keep watering. You keep protecting.
The same applies to your dreams.
Trust that the unseen work is happening beneath the surface. Stay in belief. Stay in gratitude. And when the time is right, your harvest will come.
✨ Lesson for Coaching/Journaling:
Ask yourself today:
- What seeds (dreams) am I planting right now?
- Is my soil (mindset) fertile enough to receive them?
- What weeds (limiting beliefs, doubts, fears) do I need to pull out?
- What actions can I take this week to water and protect my dreams?
- Is my environment nourishing my growth or poisoning it?
Remember: Wanting is not enough. Planting, nurturing, and believing are what bring your desires into harvest.
